Mia graduated from McGill University. She is a member of College of Dietitians of British Columbia (CDBC) and Dietitians of Canada. She also completed Breastfeeding Course for Health Care Providers (LEARRC approved breastfeeding course) by Douglas College. She had extensive work experience working in chronic disease prevention and management, prenatal nutrition, weight management, sports nutrition, blood sugar control and etc.
